Physics HW

Experiment lab reports are due by the end of class on Friday (tomorrow).  70 points !!!I'll post the parts of the lab and the questions here if you choose to work on it over night.

Labs must have:  1. Title  2. Purpose 3. Hypothesis 4. Materials  5. Procedures  6.  Data (table and graph)  7.  Response to hypothesis  8.  Analysis Questions  9. Conclusion

Analysis Q's:  1.  What trends do you see in your data?   Do you see any correlations?

2.  What changes did you have to make in your experiment to make it work?

3.  What were sources of error that may have made your experiment less than perfect?  Name as many as possible and suggest what each error may have done to your data.

4.  Explain, in detail, how your experiment could be performed again in an attempt to eliminate the error that you just talked about.  What would you do differently?

Conclusion:  2 Well written paragraphs with the following structure recommended:

P1:  Write about how the trends you saw in your experiment have added to your understanding of the world or your knowledge base.  Also mention new questions that may have come up and how you might investigate them.

P2:  What is a good experiment?  Be as detailed as possible and prove that you've learned something while doing your experiment.  Was your experiment good?
