Due date for our topographic maps is Thursday the 18th by the end of the day! Please note the following list of requirements for completed maps:
Map must have: Name of mapping company, 10 georeferenced Lat/Long points, all corners square, sweet compass rose, Colorado inset map, scale, scale bar with units, key, perfect borders, erased grid system, color, bordering roads and road names.
On Key specifically: private property, grass, shrubland, big trees, small trees, dumpster, powerlines and poles, pavillion, rock sign, jungle gym, and anything else that you think is significant!

******REMEMBER******** Subtract 10 degrees from all bearings (what your compass actually read in the field) to account for magnetic declination. Our vertical grids in class are TRUE north.
