Rocket Project Title through Reflection should be posted on your DP! Next we will work on our final piece - the CONCLUSION:
CONCLUSION: This is a one paragraph summary of the calculation process written in either the first OR third person. First person: I took........We then calculated........ Third person: he, she, it, or they then added a parachute.......(written from the viewpoint of an outside observer)
The conclusion should include the following steps and should be written in the past tense:
1. Begin with angle, observation distance (174' or 53m), and actual hang time data
2. Show calculation of max ht in meters
3. From max ht show calculation of average actual velocity in m/s
4. From max ht show calculation of hang time and theoretical hang time in seconds
5. Then explain the percent error calculation and show your calculation comparing actual hang time to theoretical hang time.
6. I would end with a brief explanation as to why your value for #5 is high or low. (remember that the hang time formula is based on true free fall. When parachutes deploy, what is increased?????)
UPLOAD!! (due by the end of class tomorrow - Friday) ONCE YOUR WRITING HAS BEEN PEER REVIEWED BY 2-3 PEOPLE, SPELL CHECKED AND IS NEARLY FLAWLESS. Rocket Project Complete.
