We should be putting the finishing touches on our topographic maps today and getting them polished for tomorrow night's FINAL EXHIBITION! In addition to your perfect topographic map I would like for each group to produce a one paragraph description that will be printed out and hung next to your map. (One description per map group) Title them "Methodology behind the Map" and make sure you include:
1. All of your names
2. A description of how we measured bearings and paces in the field
3. A description of how bearings and paces were turned into your map
4. A description of how Google Earth helped us plot contour lines
5. A description of what contour lines are and an overview of why one would need a topo map
6. A connection to "spatial awareness" which means you used a real field method that gives context to where natural features really are relative to each other.
This should be a stand-alone description of your project that lets visitor know exactly what this project is about!
